MEYERS’ BIO
Since launching her career as a freelance writer, Tiffany Meyers has contributed to magazines like Communication Arts, Advertising Age, HOW, Step, Entrepreneur, Metropolis, PDN, The Chicago Tribune, Graphis, and the women’s business magazine PINK, among others.
Over the course of her career, Meyers has written on a range of issues for magazines and clients–but the majority of her attention goes to producing stories about business and design–and the frequent intersection between the two.
Previously, Meyers was Managing Editor of One, a magazine published by the New York-based advertising and design organization The One Club. There, she was the editor of The One Show Annual, a 500-page book featuring breakthrough advertising and design, and the organization’s education director.
She earned a journalism degree from Boston University and a master’s in fiction writing from Johns Hopkins University. Following her degree, she sharpened her research chops as an assistant researcher and journal editor at a Johns Hopkins think tank devoted to creating effective educational policies for students at risk.
Meyers is also the passionate president of the board of EPIC, a Chicago-based organization that empowers creative professionals to make social change happen. EPIC pairs world-class designers, writers and other marketing pros with non-profits in need of pro-bono advertising and marketing campaigns. As board president, Meyers is part of the leadership team that both manages day-to-day operations and guides the organization’s strategic development.
